April 2015 Meeting

April 21, 2015April 21, 2015 stephenchurchill

The April 17th meeting was held with a great turnout.  We had two violins, one viola and even a mandolin in the white!  As well a exquisitely carved lion’s head scroll was displayed which will be incorporated into a future instrument.

About the Association

The goal of the Association is to encourage the development of the Art of Violin Making. Our next public meeting, probably in early 2027, will be a workshop devoted to setting up violins. The intention is that this will be a prelude to our March Exhibition and Competition at UBC (March 13, 2027).
